The cover sells the book, and I like the historical perspective of Chinese Immigrants. The description of the ships layout gives depth to a ship that has only been glamorized. The main character is fearless, determined and deftly assumed the identity of her deceased employer without batting an eye. I cant wait to see how an acrobat makes it to America alive, does she save her stubborn brother? We must read and see.
