The plot of the book began right away and I immediately took a liking to our main character Valora and her adventurous, determined side. Putting together vivid descriptions of something as complex as the Titanic is difficult, kudos to the author Stacy Lee for doing it so smoothly! The book cover is stunning and effectively establishes Valora's conflicting presentation of playing the roles of first and third class on the ship. The end of the preview left me hooked to know how Valora will overcome the continuous challenges she faces, and if she will grow to be her own person as she realizes her brother already has. Can't wait to keep reading!
