This book was incredibly motivating and inspiring as a person who grew up with very little and wanting so many things to feel accepted, i have battled always wanting more bc I was able to have the things i lacked as a child. I have also been guilty of doing this now with my own children buying them anything and everything bc i wanted that for them I never wanted them to think i wish i had that. It gets to the point when you realize its still not filling that void your trying to fill. Things and materials don't buy happiness. This book dives into the idea of living more minimally and not needing as many THINGS as your heart feels it needs to dive into your soul and figure out what its truly longing for. It reminded me greatly of Marie Kondo and I really was moved by her way of thinking also. It puts you front and center to deal with the raw real flaws that are making us unhappy and do positive healthy things to whole heartedly FIX them.
