When he was a teenager, a visit to his uncle left Will Sterling with a lasting impression of a girl up on a balcony, only heard and not seen. Years later Will is a doctor with no need for an apartment that his uncle left to him, but the will says he can’t sell it for a year.
Nora knows the building her grandma lived is something special. The neighbors are all quirky but they’re also a big family. When Will decides to turn his newly acquired place into a rental, the game is on between him and the rest of the building who don’t want their home to lose its magic.
A balcony is the perfect story for any romance to start! Love At First is such a fun read. Will and Nora are both such likable characters. They both had reasons that made perfect sense to feel like they did about the apartment. It was so refreshing to not have one side bad or mean. Just two good people with a misunderstanding that leads to some hilarious fun.
The side characters are also all a treat! The neighbors are all a little different and that came through very clear in why it made the building so special. I also did not think Dr. Abraham would become a favorite character but I absolutely loved him by the end.
