I have read all of Kate Clayborn (Luck of the Draw series and Love Lettering) and absolutely love her writing. I love it so much that I was actually nervous to read this book and, honestly, I put it off for a while. I absolutely hate the feeling of anxiously awaiting a favored author's book, only to be disappointed with the results. Never fear: this book is absolutely wonderful! I was completely sucked in by all of the characters and the building at the heart of the book. Found family is such a wonderful thing and Love at First is almost a love letter to that concept. Beyond that, Nora and Will are written as such whole and complete characters. Of course you know there will be things keeping them apart before they eventually come back together but those things did not seem contrived or unnecessary. They feel like true, realistic, and emotional obstacles. I will continue to recommend Kate Clayborn to anyone who will listen and I can't wait to go back and read this again (as I have with all of her books). Also, I may need to plan a trip to Chicago...
