I'm all for the enemies-to-lovers trope, but this one has a bit of a twist because Will fell in love with Nora the first time he ever saw her (or really just heard her... he was a teen who badly needed glasses and couldn't see what she looked like).

16 years later, he inherits the apartment that belonged to his uncle and meets her again. The only problem is she and the rest of the residents in the 6-condo building don't want Will to change a thing, and he has no intention of keeping it. They are both stuck in opposite corners, tied mostly to memories and what they understand love to be.

Both Will and Nora ultimately need to learn "You don't have to love people the way you learned to love at first."

The characters were fun and quirky--I kind of coveted wanting to live in a close-knit community like that--and the internal struggles both Kate and Will had to overcome were honest and real.
