I love the idea of love so it’s no wonder Romance, especially rom-coms, are one of my favorite genres! This was my first book by Kate Clayborn and it did not disappoint.

Nora and her motley crew of adopted family are reeling with the loss of Nora’s Nonna and their neighbor Donny. Unbeknownst to Nora, her new neighbor, Will, has loved her from first sound when he “met” her as she unknowingly tossed tomatoes at him from the balcany.

Both Nora and Will are struggling emotionally but through a series of some comical and some heart breaking moments, they learn to grow, both separately and together.

While on the surface it’s a romantic comedy, there’s so many more deeper threads. From chosen family to deep losses to personal growth, you’ll feel all things but with just enough humor thrown in.

There are tons of cliched romance moments, but they had me smiling in the best way!
