Will saw Nora from afar when they were teenagers, and she was spending the summer at her grandmother's apartment in Chicago, and he was visiting an uncle in the same building. For Will, it was love at first sight, although he never expected to see her again. Fast forward 16 years, and Nora and Will have both inherited the apartments in a close-knit building. Initially, there is tension between the two, as Nora fights to keep everything as her grandmother had it, and Will works to clean and modernize his apartment. But love will find a way!
This book was very cute and sweet, and the perfect weeknight quick read. I especially enjoyed getting to know the neighbors in the building, and how we learned all of their backstories. I also enjoyed Will's budding friendship with his boss at the hospital. I did wish for a little more of Uncle Donny's backstory though.
