When Will inherits a condo in a very unique Chicago building from an uncle he never knew, it sets in motion big changes for him and for Nora, the girl he glimpsed one summer day and never saw again - until now. If you're fascinated by real estate, Will's project to renovate his uncle's neglected condo on a shoestring and turn it into a short-term rental is very interesting. As are the efforts of the other five owners in this close-knit building to discourage him. I found all the characters in this novel to be very appealing. Will and Nora, the main characters, both have a lot of charm and integrity and it's easy to root for them. The older people who own the other five condos in the building are all well-drawn and believable. For me, the characters were the best part of this book.
