Sixteen years ago, a teenaged Will Sterling standing beneath an apartment building balcony, shared a perfect moment with a lovely, warm-voiced stranger. It’s a memory that’s never faded, though he’s put so much of his past behind him. Now an unexpected inheritance has brought Will back to that same address, where he plans to offload his new property and get back to his regular life as an overworked doctor. Instead, he encounters a woman, two balconies above, who’s very familiar. Nora Clarke is surprised by her reaction to handsome Will, or the pre-dawn conversations they share, she won’t let his plans ruin her quirky, close-knit building. Bound by her loyalty to her adored grandmother, she sets out to foil his efforts with a little light sabotage. But beneath the surface of their feud is an undeniable connection. Could it work out in the end and be a second chance?

The premise of this book has me intrigued from the start. Nora and Will feuding over an apartment rental along with the quirky set of neighbors who also live in the building. Each person comes in with their own baggage and hurts and form their version of family. Will and Noras story is sweet to the core and had me cheering for them to see it for themselves.

Overall this was a sweet, heartfelt and fun story. I loved all the quirky characters too. This was a great way to spend a sick day at home curling up with these characters. Thank you to @bookishfirst and @kensington for the advanced reader copy in exchange for my honest review.
