Last year I read Kate Clayborn’s Love Lettering and absolutely fell in love with her writing style. I’m happy to say that I still love her style, and loves Love At First!
Will had seen (or, mostly heard) Nora as he visited and met his uncle for the first time. Years later, Will’s uncle deeded Will his apartment—with a bit of a catch. Will decides to fix up and rent out the apartment, which places him at odds with the other residents of the apartment building (most specifically Nora). Will and Nora have a bit of a love-hate relationship for a while, but are able to overcome the “hate” aspect in the end.
I very much enjoyed not only the love story, but also the side stories of Will’s past, Nora coming to terms with making changes to her grandmother’s home, and both characters having a found family in the other residents of the building. Each character was fully fleshed out, and I felt like I could picture the apartment building with its hallways and courtyard. A very well written story!
