This was right up my alley! The perfect mix of cute+adorable characters and a dash of "realness" from their surrounding struggles in life! I adored the squirrel scene so much and found it especially humorous given I know EXACTLY what it is like to not be able to see w/o glasses. If the author managed to capture me so quickly before the first chapter even began, I can only imagine how much I will love reading the full novel.
