YES!!
This book has all the appropriate parts to construct what is my absolute favorite genre in the world: rich kids get caught up in a murder mystery. The setting for this novel was perfect; I mean, what place screams old money better than an affluent New England suburb? The plot itself was pretty great as well, with lots of plot twists (although I was admittedly able to predict a couple of them). That being said, this book starts off really slow. It took a while for me to be able to get into the book at all, because the pacing at the beginning lacked the quick suspense that I was anticipating/hoping for. By the end, however, the story really picks up and I simply could not bring myself to put this book down. If you are wondering whether this book would suit you, my opinion is that it is a good mystery but should not have been classified as a thriller. Still, it was pretty good overall.
