I felt uneasy from the first sentence, I was on edge every page and couldn't stop flipping through every page! It really set the tone for the rest of this tension filled ride of a book. Also the multiple point of views of the book is always an intriguing aspect and really makes you want to yell at the creatures things that are in other point of view while also keeps you on edge , especially when you want to stay on a certain characters opinion while also wanting to flip to another character's point of view. I also believe that the pacing is good in this story and doesn't rush anything or try to quickly glaze over facts making me think that everything is well thought through. This book also provides a lot of good topics such as bad groups of friends, dysfunctional families, money, power, secrets, lies, and an affluent neighborhood where nothing bad ever happens and it seems almost perfect until proven that it is too perfect and someone gets murdered.
