This was a solid mystery that I was very invested in. I really just wanted to know who did it and what happened. I loved that the investigation is seen through pretty much everyone except the authorities. I liked the additional family and marriage drama that added to the story. There were a lot of layers explored. While the ending was resolved, there were still openings for the characters paths and I liked that.
“He was her son and you didn’t get to judge your children. You don’t owe the world justice when’re they were concerned. You just believed them. You protected them. No matter what.”
