Right away this story gripped me with the first curious incident that happens and the mystery surrounding the background story of Patrick. As the story continues the characters are introduced and each one captured my interest with the different situations that they are in and I want to know how it all connects. The fact that the state this book is set in is Massachusetts makes me want to read it even more since I was born in and still live in Massachusetts.
