I was so excited to read this one! I know many are turned off at the idea of stories featuring the pandemic, but for me I have found joy in imagining life having these happy moments during a tough time. What I loved about this excerpt so far was that we're introduced to a setting that lends itself perfectly to this situation, giving us multiple characters to get to know better and and easy to dive into writing style.
How it touches on that the one can impact the many, and how significant that tiny moment can turn out to be is something I felt was so important to learn and grow from for both the characters and me as a reader. I really enjoyed the characters, and am looking forward to reading the rest of their stories! Loving that it reads more like a compilation of stories with the multi POVs, but has an overall plotline and theme, so creative and fun for this style of story.
