The beginning of this book is hilarious. The first chapter starts with Imogen trying to sneak out after a one night stand. She gets as far as the apartment building’s lobby, before she finds out the building is in lock down due to a positive case and no one can go in or out.
My first impressions of this book are that the characters will be very real and well developed. I absolutely love that this book is set during the pandemic because I think everyone will be able to relate due to our current situation. I also love that the second chapter is from another characters’ perspective. This leads me to think that there will be lots of different perspectives throughout the book and they will each have their own little story going on, while they are all woven together. I’m looking forward to reading the full book once it is published and seeing what happens during the week long lock down.
