I was unsure of how I would like this book, being as I usually like books that allow me to escape reality, not relive it in a different perspective or timeline. This story takes place in the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, so I was quite apprehensive at first. I am so glad I stuck around and gave this book a shot!

This author has a refreshing style of writing. She puts so much personality and "sass" behind the characters. Imogen is a care-free girl living her best life, and I love her so much already! I am interested in seeing her character development.

On another side of things, we have Charlotte & Ethan, whom I love dearly. They take on a sweeter & more sensitive side to this book. It's nice to be able to see different perspectives, aside from what we all experienced in our waking lives. I felt the heavy-heartedness right along with them.

This book also delves into the lives of the other 3 apartment units and how they handle the 7-day quarantine period. Some have to face being away from their loved ones, and others may be stuck with the longest 1-night stand in history. Sometimes the space (or lack thereof) isn't always the best for a new and blossoming relationship

Love this author and book.
