The book is timely, since it is a book about love during a pandemic, but for me it might be just a tad bit TOO timely, since I'm reading to find escape from the current situation and not be immersed in it when I'm reading for enjoyment. I also didn't feel drawn to the characters. Also, it makes no sense to lock down a building due to a case--better to isolate that case in a building with others who tested positive and then monitor the remaining apartment dwellers (otherwise that infected person will just spread it through the air vents to all apartments if they are connected--it has happened in some apartments with poor ventilation and hotels too). Maybe the First Look was too short for me to get into the storyline and get a feel for the characters, but I'm sure some will enjoy the story of finding love during an uncertain time.
