I really enjoyed this book. The main character was a strong female lead who also had her own flaws. The plot kept me interested throughout the whole story. I binge read this rather quickly! Also loved that I got a free copy from Bookishfirst. The love interest made sense to me and wasn't an insta love type of romance, which I am thankful for since I usually can't stand it. I really loved the premise of the Gods and how the different types of Gods had varying degrees of power. The magic system was easy to understand and the world building was quite fun. I enjoyed getting decent backstory on the characters to help understand their motives and what drives them. This book also had a perfect villain that you'll love to hate. There were enough twists and turns to keep the plot interesting without being too predictable. I am really excited to dive into more of the author's books now. The writing style was fun and easy to follow. (: Highly recommend!
