Drew me in immediately. Loved Vanja's backstory and the badassness she has! Also love that you made both the gods, goddesses. Overall, the main character was independent and strong and mischievous, which I loved!
The writing style is fun, looking at things through Vanja's eyes and loved the idea of the card game and how that played into the first look; I didn't think you'd pull it off as we got nearer the end but that was a very good ending to the first look.
The only thing for me was the language used was a bit hard to start with to read and keep the flow and to remember what the different words were referring to but I still gave it 5 stars because I think that is something that will work better when you're reading the entire book.
I absolutely intend to order the book the second it gets released and then binge it to find out what happens to Vanja!!
