The cover was what pulled me in with this young adult Fantasy and the fact that it is a retelling of a Brothers Grimm tale made me want it even more! I decided to use my points on Little Thieves by Margaret Owen. I adore retellings so that and the cover made me use my points on this young adult Fantasy 2021 title. I had recently seen this retelling of "The Goose Girl" on one of my favorite booktuber's videos and knew that as soon as it showed up I needed to request it! I had not checked out a book from Margaret Owen before but had The Merciful Crow, her first novel on my TBR for a while now. Since I enjoyed Little Thieves so much I will be checking out her past and future novels! Thank you, bookish first and publisher for the hardcover copy of Little Thieves by Margaret Owen. It was a great read and I am glad that I picked this one to spend my points on this year!
