So far in the sneak peek I have enjoyed the character introduction. The number 13 has always been a symbol of bad luck especially for vanja being 13th daughter of 13th daughter. However as encounters death and Fortune she crosses paths with a pearl necklace that allows her to impersonate a princess and leave behind the life she has been fated to. However her locked in the 13th daughter really is in as well as she thinks if I am not wrong this Grimm Brothers fairy tale is about a girl who tells lies and gems be from her mouth making them curse. To be honest this fairy tale is not as widely known as the others that the Grimm Brothers have written. However I think it is an interesting retelling and retake on the tail in order for more people to know about this Fairy tale. It's a bug have seen very interesting thus far and I would definitely recommend this as something fun for beginner young adult readers.
