I think the cover is absolutely eye catching. The story pulls you in right away with a mother who is the 13th child gives up her 13th child to Death and Fortune because she's unlucky and doesn't want another mouth to feed. Death and Fortune claim her and then you go to real time. Seems like it'll be a great read.
