Little Thieves has a dark opening that really seems to yell “impending doom.” A child traded to Fortune and Death by her own mother leaves much to the imagination. Fairy tale retellings are always high on my list of must reads and after reading this sneak peek, this has truly peaked my interest. Also, I love the simple subtly of the cover.
