I've read the author's other books and loved them. As soon as I saw that she had another one coming out that sounded amazing (and has such a gorgeous cover!), I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. Now, after reading the excerpt, I am counting the days until I get to read the rest of the book. The characters are complex and realistic, the plot is fascinating, and the writing is strong with lots of vivid imagery. This just got bumped to the top of my TBR list!
