From the first page of this story, I was captivated. I always enjoy a good retelling, especially when the retelling is dark, lyrical, and keeps me engaged and wanting more, so when I read the blurb I was intrigued. And I wasn't disappointed because the story opened with a great start and I'm eager to see what happens next in the story.
