This book was definitely creepy and interesting and I love the aspect of the twins (I’m an auntie to 5 yr old twins). This reminds me of a Grimm’s fairytale. Lauren is the only one who realizes something’s off from her kids after they going missing in the park. They look the same, but she knows they are different. This book held my interest, but the super natural parts aren’t my usual style. The husband is the worst character. He constantly makes Lauren feel bad for being tired and overwhelmed with two newborns! I did like the detective who seems to understand Lauren, but also realizes she’s a burn out new mother. But something missed the mark for me. I would still read another by this author.
