Something about this book held my attention right from the cover to the synopsis and through the entire novel. The element of the unknown or was it really unknown? Was it psychological or was it mystical? Did it really happen in the novel or did the author mean to have us hold our breath trying to figure it out? Was there really magic or was it all in mom's head. Even when there was that doubt,the author took us to those worlds. Literally dragged me under, literally had me wonder, can this happen? I'd there a world out there like this? I loved the way there was a strong connection drawn between doubt and convincing the reader that there are mystical elements out there that we could possibly interact to with. But then in the end,, maybe it was all just a novel.
