The cover is creepy and I feel a good fit for this read. I enjoyed the description of the book but truthfully the story was not for me. I'm not sure if it was just the weirdness factor that got to me or what. The characters were on point and had be nervous but the voices and what not. I kept getting confused as to who was speaking? Was it the mother? Was it the voices she was hearing? I made it about 25% through and then I put it down and didn't have the desire to pick it back up. I would love to read another book by this author in the future. I feel her writing was good but the material itself was not for me. I have heard good reviews from others so that is a plus. I look forward to another book in the future.
