Awesome book! Little Darlings kept me riveted from beginning to end, I couldn’t put it down! Based off folklore with plenty of suspense mixed in, so many twists I didn’t see coming, and imagery that was so well done. I found myself sympathizing with Lauren, the main character of the book. She was continuously reaching out for help, but no one was believing her because they just saw an exhausted and frazzled new mom. As a mom myself, this plot line gave me so much anxiety and there were a few times I had to turn the lights on because I got so creeped out reading at night haha. I’m newer to reading thriller/mystery/etc type books and this one made me want to read more. I highly recommend to anyone who loves creepy, intriguing books, with a bit of magical realism mixed in.
