This is a kind of creepy fairytale type story! It really will make you wonder about things that you only read in Grimm's fairy tales! It held my interest and really made me wonder about some of the things the book mentioned. Are there really such things as this in our world? Who knows? The author gave excellent descriptions of her characters and I felt like I could really picture them in my mind's eye. I felt the terror the new mother felt and her helplessness that she was not believed! The ending was suspenseful, if somewhat dissappointing. I wanted more! I will definitely read more books written by this author. I'm sure she has a lot more ideas to write about. If you love a mystery with some delicious creepiness then this is the perfect read for you!
