I loved reading the excerpt from this book. It opens up with a glimpse of how the story will progress. The thought of her babies not being her own really takes a toll on Lauren's mental health, which I believe leads to what happens about a month after the twins are born. It will be interesting to learn more about the mysterious woman from the hospital and why she believes her babies are charmed with a dark charm. I find it interesting that the husband isn't allowed to stay with his wife in the hospital after giving birth. I also feel like he couldn't wait to leave at the end of the day and seemed really nervous about staying past six o'clock. I'm wondering if the mysterious woman is almost like an urban legend. She has cursed twins and visits every mom who gives birth to twins. Maybe the hospital is cursed. Who knows! I can't wait to read more and find out!
