Creepy, mind-twisting thriller
After seeing the synopsis for this new release, I was very excited to read it. It sounded super creepy, and I was not let down at all. This fast-paced psychological thriller was definitely creepy and disturbing (in a non-gore way). I read it in one sitting, got goosebumps multiple times, and even started questioning my own sanity once.
I loved the dark fairy tale magical realism aspect to it. But for those who don't normally tend to like that kind of stuff, you should definitely still read this. This book really gets you thinking, and then weeks later, you're still thinking about it. The ending was fantastic, and the whole book really sends a message. I truly hope Melanie Golding writes more novels after this first foray into full length writing.
