Oh wow, this was creepy and horrifying all at once! This wa super creepy. I don't know if I can look at Hospitals the same anymore. It starts action packed and just continues from there.The detail that goes into the birth scene is definitely well researched (not to mention horrifying.). Changeling babies mixed with postpartum depression mixed with horror makes Little Darlings a genre hopping book.I picture the creepy fairy lady as an old woman with barely any hair and rooting teeth, which makes reading iit scary. Is there a genre for fantasy-magcal-relaism-horror? Because Little Darlings would fit right in. That or maybe stat it''s own subgenre? Either way, I feel like this would be a great book to read near halloween because it has creepiness/magic that fits well with halloween.
