Man, the first few chapters of this book describe in detail the first few days after childbirth, and man, they took me back. I had a baby this year, and had no idea what things would be like in those first few days. My experience wasn't EXACTLY like this, but when the narrator described JUST ABOUT to fall asleep, and the baby wakes up - YUP, that is real.
