Immediately felt a kinship with the mother - not that I have twins - but just the feeling of wondering where the rush of love is and being abandoned in the hospital by husband. The sleep deprivation that follows while trying to sleep and breastfeed at the same time. That is where the kinship ends though as she meets the "other" mother of twins. You have to wonder whether she is hallucinating or not. I was unhappy when I got to the end of the excerpt! I like the cover/title - you would think Little Darlings would be sweet - but on this cover it appears creepy!
