I need to find out why his dad left the church, how come his mum was writing the sermons, why his mum and sister fled the town... so many hints and so many mysteries that the fact that we have a body in the room is not even that important anymore! And suddenly, when definitely everyone was expecting to finally “be allowed to know what we already know” , I love the phrase by the way! So clever! Finally we don’t have a body in the middle of the room! Not to forget that the family business is a mortuary parlour!! I mean my mind is already working overtime imaging his white skin and dark colour suits! Glassy eyes and very slow and quite voice! The beginning of a very good book all in all! Can’t wait to get to the end of it.
