A fascinating look into the life of Cohen as he navigates his fathers death. A back and forth between memories and the present takes us on a spiritual journey into the life Cohen leads and the one he left behind.

I think this book would be really interesting to read. Seeing two timelines coexisting to explain how a family can be torn apart by deceit, and how religion and faith can help to heal.

We get to see grief through many eyes and explore the concept of what it means to accept, and let go.

Will Cohen forgive his father? Will he forgive his mother? What secrets is he hiding from his past? Who killed his father, and what secrets was he also hiding?

Families are tough and Cohens family seems pretty normal as far as that rule goes.
