The synopsis is intriguing and makes me want to read more. But I’m not clear on what genre(s) this book is trying to be. Murder mystery, magical realism, maybe horror? So that would be more helpful to me since I don’t read horror. The sneak peek didn’t help answer that question either. But he sneak peek also didn’t draw me in as much as I expected from the synopsis either.
