This novel is beautifully written, very descriptive and poetic. There is a hint of mystery around the story, why did Cohen leave his father? Why doesn't he know what happened? Will his father recover?
Cohen clearly has issues over his parents' divorce, and he doesn't seem to have a good relationship with his mother. However, it seems that he has a decent relationship with his father, so why leave him bleeding on the floor?
This story has many layers waiting to be peeled back to reveal the truth.
