What would my impression be without the word....Intriguing. With a brooding element and a bit of mystery we can't help but be captivated by its beautiful cover and it's fantastic opening. The first few pages are gripping and dark and just the right kind of night time reading I need in my life. A family death. Cohen and his father have serious issues or rather we are set up to try and understand that there is a history between them. Interested to get more in depth with the characters and their backstories.....
