I found this book to be very inspirational! I am unfamiliar with most of the artists featured but was impressed with their wise words and sound advice. The book was easy to read as each segment was short and to the point. The author mentions interviewing some of the artists as far back as 2014 so it seems like his undertaking has been quite the project. But the finished product is something to be proud of. And the illustrator should also feel proud - the artwork is fabulous! So nice to read such wisdom from famous young people who are role models for today’s teens and young adults. Some of the highlights of the book were the emphases on taking care of yourself and your relationships, being true to yourself yet finding balance and the importance of family. I also enjoyed reading how “other-focused” most of the featured artists are - fame has not made them all selfish.
