I downloaded a sneak preview of this book on NetGalley and after finishing it I went on Amazon and ordered the book. It was that good but once I finished the book I felt underwhelmed by the ending. I thought the book was great in keeping me interested page after page. The two main characters in the book were alternating between chapters and I was hooked with those cliffhangers after every chapter! Having to wait a whole other chapter to find out what was going on was nerve wracking! The characters were awesome... right up to the end. I suppose it’s realistic since this is YA but that doesn’t keep me from hating how naive the characters were. Elyse... man she needs help. I don’t think she needs to be in a relationship at all. That girl needs some serious self love! It started as a 4 star book but ended as a 3/5⭐️
