Lies You Never Told Me reminds me of a thriller Romeo and Juliet. It tells of two different high schoolers, Gabe and Elyse, brought together by a string of events. It also includes a backstabbing ex-girlfriend who blackmailed Gabe. I'm not really into high school drama, but this got me hooked. the mystery around everyone also was a great bonus. Their lives intertwining with each other was great to read. I could relate to Elyse 's shy demeanor, as I was why during high school. Gabe is also a great character to fall in love with. Her relationship with her mother was also quite real. The writing style was great and totally spot on. I would re-read this book and recommend this to anyone who loves plot twisting thrillers.
