Gabe's story begins like starter's pistol went off, while Elyse's parallel story builds slowly and steadily picks up speed. The author has a natural ability to transition smoothly between these characters without losing any rhythm. This book includes romance, friendship, and the uncertainty of both as the characters navigate through young adulthood. One thing that is certain, however, is the fact that one lie needs to be supported by yet another lie. I am looking forward to binge reading this book.
