I don’t think this is a book that I will continue to read, despite the First Look. There is a hook in the beginning that will likely draw a number of readers in, but I just can’t stomach war stories like this right now. I found reading this more stressful than escapist and if I was going for that, I’d probably just read the news. I am not likely in this book’s target audience, though, as this is not generally a genre I read.
