Jessica Goodman consistently comes up with such a good setup for a book, and then hooks you with an engaging opening and fun cast of characters. There's so much intrigue, with the main group of friends hiding things from each other, a murder that happens in the future, and a girl who got into the school on scholarship and doesn't fit in. I particularly like Tori's POV so far, and already feel like I need to protect her from what's going to happen in the story. The cover is on brand for Jessica Goodman, and gives you a perfect feel for what the story is like.
