I loved reading this first impression and the writing style the author has. I was captivated and intrigued right away. The imagery of Bernie standing on the street in her prom dress while the body is wheeled away was very visual in my mind and I love that we don't know who the body is. Then the reader bounces back a few days to lead up to the murder we get a sneak peek of. The world of the characters feels very opulent, and there's something intriguing to watch a murder thriller unfold among the elite. This looks like a fun read.
